Walking Together On An Ecospiritual Liberatory Journey
Often when we hear the word intimacy, we think romance. At the very least we think about humans. But what if intimacy with Earth was not only possible, but necessary for co-creating the world we want to inhabit and bequeath to future generations? For… Continue Reading “Earth Intimacies: Apprenticing to Life”
I’m thrilled to be able to offer a basketful of 2026 programs starting in February. They all explore re-belonging ourselves in the animate web of life, practicing our creative awesomeness, cultivating all dimensions of our wholeness, and embodying our purpose. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d have 10 poetry books out there, flitting about in the bushes and soaring in winter skies. This time last year there were just the two originals, that grew from my time in the forest and… Continue Reading “For Those Who Listen to Earth”

earth elder Joanna Macy is in her final days. She is in hospice space surrounded by family and friends. You can find updates at CaringBridge, and leave a message.
I feel moved to honor her and name a few of the many things I have learned from Joanna and her body of work and play, from her teaching, courage, transparency, and passion.
🌏Anchor in an unshakable ecospirituality (rooted in deep time, reciprocity, humility, gratitude, love, enchantment, animist relationality) 🌏Slow down. Allow something new to emerge. I’m both tickled like a butterfly and hungry like a caterpillar for Wild Nature Heart’s new course/journey starting next month.
THRESHOLD: Earth Intimacies and the Art of Transformation is a 6-week course journey dedicated to tending both our personal and collective thresholds with intention and heart. With the images of threshold crossing and caterpillar-to-butterfly transformation as guiding metaphors, we will deepen our ecospiritual practices, practice being present with the whole of what is at our doorstep, and proliferate imaginal buds for what is emerging.

The sun setting can be a daily practice for letting go of things that we are still holding onto too tightly.
Tomorrow I head out on the mountain to guide a 4-day solo wilderness rite-of-passage ceremony for someone. I’m reminded of some poetry that came through me during my first wilderness fast, that may now be medicine for others going on the sacred mountain to mark a transition, to claim their truth, to release the old, and live into their new aliveness.
Over the next few weeks, I will be posting ways in which we can cultivate belonging—to Place (the land, watershed, & more-than-human world), to community, & to self (body/soul/calling)—and how these are all interrelated. One of the ways to cultivate belonging to where you’re… Continue Reading “CULTIVATING BELONGING -PART 1”
