Walking Together On An Ecospiritual Liberatory Journey
Wild Nature Heart is a living biome of ecospiritual practice, earth intimacies,
poetic rewilding, grief tending, creativity, and liberatory belonging.
Enter where you feel most alive.
Or let the pathway choose you.
See below for upcoming programs,
divided into shorter journeys (4-6 weeks), 2-4 hour playshops, and longer immersions.
DEEP BELONGING IN THE GREAT TURNING
Wild Nature Heart’s flagship course: A 6-week experience for people hearing the call to cultivate their ecospirituality, compost mis-belonging, deepen their decolonial journey, and practice belonging to pace, place and purpose as we intentionally meet this collective initiation of intersecting ecological/social crises and opportunity. (Next cohort starts Friday, August 11)
WRITE YOUR WILD RIVER: A Poetry and Nature Connection Playshop
This 6-week workshop explores the play/craft of creative writing through an embodied, earth-centered, liberatory lens, and simultaneously, explore our embodied, earthy, multi-faceted selves through the exploration of poetry. (Starts Friday, June 26)
EARTH INTIMACIES: APPRENTICING TO LIFE
Earth Intimacies is a 6-week interactive course dedicated to intentionally re-inhabiting the animate web of life. We will deepen our ecospiritual intimacies by tending sacred relationships with the other-than-human world (including Water, Moon, Lichen, Mycelium, Feathered Friends, Soundscapes, Emergence, and more), practice cultivating belonging and honoring longings, and proliferate imaginal buds for what is emerging in this Great Turning. (Next cohort starts Thursday, June 25, 2026)
KISS ME A HUCKLEBERRY, TEACH ME THE STORM: AN ECOSENSUAL PLAYSHOP
Kiss Me A Huckleberry, Teach Me the Storm is a 4-week playshop inviting us into a deeper relationship with the sensual wisdom of the living world. Through sensory exploration, creative earthiness, poetry, and playful encounters with the more-than-human world, we will explore how the living world invites us into deeper intimacy, play, and, yes grief—teaching us through sweetness, storm, and the many ways life touches our senses. (4 Sundays, starting July 5)
FROM INSIDE THESE WILD ONES
A 6-week playshop in creative belonging, rewilding perception, and becoming creaturely. Through poetry, place-based practices, and embodied exploration, we soften the edges of identity, and let the world touch us back. We step back (or jump) into relationship with the living world—not as observers, but as beastly participants. This isn’t learningabout nature, but experiencing yourself with/as/through nature. (6 Thursdays, July 23 – August 27)
THEN YESES COME BUBBLING: A Playshop in Living the Creative Yes
A playshop in creative devotion, where we stop trying to “be creative” and instead learn to recognize, trust, and respond to the creative force and Yeses already moving through us. We’ll explore what it means to commit to your own creative awesomeness and to the “Muse” (or whatever words you use) as a living force—one that asks something real of us, rearranges our lives, and invites us into deeper participation with the world. (5 Wednesdays, July 29 – August 26)
WE GO TO THE SEA TO SCREAM: A GRIEF & BELONGING CIRCLE
A 5-week journey for those who can feel it all bubbling—grief, rage, heartbreak, confusion, love—and don’t want to numb out or carry it alone anymore. Through embodied check-ins, council circle, writing/expressive arts, and invitations to earth practices, we explore grief as a form of love, rage as devotion, and unraveling together as a doorway into belonging. (5 Saturdays, July 11-August 8)
ONE BRIGHT AND REAL CARESS: A PLAYSHOP IN BEING HERE
One Bright and Real Caress is a 5-week experiential journey into presence, where nature connection and creative permeability become doorways into direct contact with the moment and the more-than-human world. Together we explore the subtle ways we escape, practice meeting life without agenda, deepen intimacy with impermanence and contradiction, and expand our capacity to say YES! to the full spectrum of being alive. (Mondays, June 22 – July 20)
AN AMBITIOUS SILENCE: A PLAYSHOP IN OPENING ALL OUR EARS
A 5-session playshop in deep listening—an invitation to slow down and be quiet enough to hear what is already here. Together, we explore silence not as absence, but as a living field where inner voices, imaginal presences, archetypes, and the more-than-human world are speaking.(5 Tuesdays, July 21 – August 18)
WITHIN THE CAVE SOMETHING PULSES (runs most years December-January)
A 6-week journey to slow down, apprentice to the season of darkness, woo shadows, tend dreamfires, and dive deep into the caverns of our Whole Self in order to discover what emerges in the fruitful darkness. (Next one starts Sunday, December, 6, 2026)
SEASONOCRACY: Playshops for Creative Re-Alignment With the Seasons
Hosted quarterly on the solstices and equinoxes (and sometimes other seasonal markers), these playshops are gatherings that invite us to realign our bodies, imagination, and intention with the intelligence of Earth—moving away Empire time and the urgency of productivity and back toward the rhythms of the seasons. (Next up: Summer – Friday, June 19)
EARTH INTIMACIES: Writing Into the Animate Web
Earth Intimacies is a writing playshop for those who feel the pull to rejoin the animate web of life—not as an idea, but as a lived, messy, breathing practice. We’ll gather to write with the season (external and within), bodies, grief, joy, landscapes, and the more-than-human world, letting words move the way life moves: relationally, surprisingly, and unfinished. (next one Saturday, April 25 via Rite of Passage Journeys)
WRITE AGAINST/BEYOND EMPIRE
This is a evening gathering for people carrying grief, rage, confusion, clarity, and imagination in a time of imperial violence, lies, and psychic exhaustion. Together we’ll write from the body and heart—not to perform despair, aestheticize suffering, or draft polite appeals to power, but to metabolize what is happening and let language become a tool of orientation, refusal, and possibility. (next one Wednesday, May 6)
LOVE AGAINST EMPIRE (Feb. 14)
This two-hour creative/writing playshop is a generative space to write with/in/as Love as refusal, love as vision, Love as something that composts Empire and keeps moving even when Power wants to pave over it or keep it numb.

🐉NEW: BECOMING BEAUTIFUL BARBARIANS: COMPOSTING THE SPELL OF EMPIRE
A community of practice and inquiry for dismantling patterns and igniting imagination beyond the coordinates we inherited from Modernity. A 3-month seasonal journey dedicated to dismantling (inner and outer) Empire through an earth-rooted, anti-colonial, liberatory lens. Part culture lab, part envisioning regenerative futures, and part inner and outer practice with the toys and tools of council circle, earth intimacies, somatics, poetry, art, action, and ritual.(12 Saturdays starting September 12, 2026)
MOON HAS A LONG MEMORY JOURNEY
Moon Has a Long Memory is a 13-moon lunatic apprenticeship in living by the cycles of Elder Moon, the land, and your own inner shapeshifting. Across a full year, we gather on the full moons to listen, speak, and be witnessed, and descend into the dark of new moons through simple practices of reflection and renewal. Rooted in presence, practice, and poetry, this is a rhythm to inhabit—a slow learning from Moon and re-membering of the parts of ourselves that have been scattered by speed, noise, and forgetting. Together, we begin to restore a more intimate relationship with pace and place, with ourselves, and with the quiet intelligence of moon wisdom. (First gathering Sunday, Full Moon June 29)
CROSSING THE THRESHOLD: 4-month Wilderness Rite-of-Passage Journey with Creative Arts Ecotherapy (July-October 2026 – On-the-Land Sept. 11-15)
Crossing the Threshold is a four-month sacred journey, combining elements of nature connection and creative arts and culminating in a 6-day wilderness rite-of-passage ceremony on the land. Beginning in July, we will gather every two weeks online to connect, deepen our intentions for our next steps aligned with our purpose, experiment with the 4 elements, and attune to our inner and outer wilderness landscapes. The program culminates in a 6-day renewal rite-of-passage ceremony in September along a beautiful forested river in Southern Oregon, where you will have two-nights out solo on the land and 4 days connecting in earth community, allowing yourself to be witnessed in your authentic story. NOTE: This is not a retreat and not a workshop. It is a ceremony stretched across a season, woven through ecotherapy, expressive arts, elemental practice, and a wilderness solo that marks your passage from one chapter of life into another.
